Our small-scale Kids and Carrots location in the Valkenboskwartier is situated in the peaceful part of the Fahrenheitstraat. At this location, we offer daycare in three bright groups: a baby group, a toddler group, and a toddler plus group. Safely enclosed by these group spaces is a spacious garden, and within 100 meters of this location, there are various playgrounds and supermarkets. Trips can also be made to the nearby green Newtonplein.

Vrolijk Pasen van Kids & Carrots Vol plezier, ontdekking en mooie herinneringen!
Bij Kids & Carrots laten we kinderen graag ontdekken en spelen met natuurlijke materialen. Het liefst gaan we daarvoor naar buiten, op zoek naar kleine schatten uit de natuur die we meenemen naar de groep. Dit is daar een mooi voorbeeld van. Met natuurlijke materialen in glazen potten kunnen ook onze jongste kinderen op een veilige manier ontdekken. Onder begeleiding van onze pedagogisch professionals kijken, voelen en ruiken ze. Zo ervaren ze de natuur ook binnen, met al hun zintuigen. Dat is echt Kids & Carrots!
Wat groeit daar zo mooi op de groep? Op de groepen van Veenkade en Vissershaven zijn de kinderen bij Kids & Carrots aan de slag gegaan met mini moestuintjes en het planten van kruiden. Samen kijken ze elke dag hoe alles groeit en verandert. In de moestuinbakken is van alles te ontdekken. Tussen de aarde liggen paaseieren verstopt en met een vergrootglas, veertjes en andere materialen gaan de kinderen op onderzoek uit. De plantjes brengen een fijne, groene sfeer in de groep en maken de natuur van dichtbij beleefbaar. Zo groeit niet alleen het groen, maar ook de nieuwsgierigheid van de kinderen. Dat is echt Kids & Carrots !
Deze week was er bij Kids & Carrots een creatieve activiteit waarbij beleving en ontdekking centraal stonden. Onder begeleiding van onze kunstjuf gingen de kinderen aan de slag met verschillende materialen. Op de grond lagen onder andere schuim en piepschuim klaar, waar de kinderen tussendoor konden kruipen, voelen, stapelen en bouwen. Bij Kids & Carrots werken we graag met kosteloos materiaal. Zo kan een gewoon stuk piepschuim ineens een materiaal worden om mee te bouwen, stapelen of voelen. Door met verschillende materialen te werken ontdekken kinderen nieuwe manieren om te spelen en creatief te zijn. Een activiteit vol spel, beleving en aandacht voor duurzaam omgaan met materialen. Dat is écht Kids & Carrots.
