This Kids and Carrots childcare centre is decorated with attractive custom-made furniture in warm and natural colours that give the room a homely feel. The garden is adjacent to the children’s farm ‘t Beestenspul and the fence has a view-through, so that the animals are also visible from the garden. The spacious garden has a traffic route with a car wash, a large sandpit, a water bowl, a vegetable garden, an outdoor workshop, a “restaurant” and a play hill.

Snotneuzen en griepjes horen erbij in deze tijd van het jaar. 🤧 Helemaal voorkomen lukt nooit, maar we kunnen wel helpen om het wat te beperken. Handen regelmatig wassen, frisse lucht en voldoende rust doen vaak al wonderen. Buiten spelen helpt ook – koude lucht is geen vijand, maar vaak juist verfrissend. Krijgt een kind toch koorts of voelt het zich echt niet lekker? Dan is thuis uitrusten meestal het beste. Zo kan iedereen weer sneller opknappen. ❄️ Buiten spelen, ook in de winter. Warm ingepakt naar buiten, voelen, ruiken, ontdekken. Sporen zoeken, takken sjouwen, ijs ervaren. In de winter buiten zijn betekent leren met het hele lijf: motoriek versterken, grenzen verkennen, weerbaar worden en natuur beleven. En natuurlijk voor veel plezier!
Na alle gezelligheid van de feestdagen is het tijd om weer even tot rust te komen. ✨ In de kinderopvang nemen we bewust de ruimte om te ontprikkelen: minder drukte, meer rust, vertrouwde ritmes en fijne momenten samen. Door rustig te spelen, te bewegen en te ontspannen helpen we kinderen om alle indrukken te verwerken. Zo voelen ze zich weer veilig, ontspannen en in balans 💛 Een zachte start van het nieuwe jaar, precies wat ze nodig hebben.

The Kids and Carrots nursery is easily accessible by public transport, car and bicycle. Use can be made of the Veenkade pick-up and drop-off lane. Here you can park briefly when bringing and picking up your child(ren). In front of the entrance there are a number of bicycle lanes where bicycles can be parked during drop-off and pick-up.
