This establishment is located on the border of the Zeeheldenkwartier and the centre of The Hague. The nursery has very spacious and light groups. The two baby groups both have two bedrooms. The large garden has a covered play area, a city of play houses, a large sandpit, a picnic area, sand and water tables, chalkboards, a vegetable garden, a traffic square, a play hill with a slide, a construction corner, a baby garden with an outdoor cot and a wide range of outdoor toys. The garden has its own entrance door to the adjoining petting zoo.

We kijken nog even terug op vorige week, want bij Kids and Carrots stond alles in het teken van de liefde. ❤️ De kinderen maakten mooie Valentijnscreaties van zoutdeeg, vol aandacht en enthousiasme. Maar het ging om meer dan alleen knutselen. Ze ontdekten hoe fijn het is om iets voor een ander te maken en om trots te zijn op iets wat je zelf hebt gemaakt voor iemand die je lief is. Bij Kids and Carrots zijn dit de momenten die ertoe doen: samen beleven, aandacht voor elkaar en ruimte om te groeien in wie je bent.
Groene keuzes, warme truien! Vandaag is het #Warmetruiendag en ook bij Kids and Carrots doen we mee! Met een extra warme trui en – waar kan – de verwarming een graadje lager, laten we kinderen op een speelse manier ervaren hoe je goed voor de wereld zorgt. Duurzaamheid wordt zo iets wat je gewoon dóet. Op de locaties maken we er een leuke dag van: een korte warming-up, lievelingstruien, creatieve truien versieren, vingerhaken met wol, een grappige truien-wedstrijd en een kleine klimaatjacht waarbij we samen lampen uitdoen als we een ruimte verlaten. Ondertussen praten we met de kinderen over waarom we dit doen, op een manier die past bij hun leeftijd en beleving. Doe je thuis ook mee? • Zet de verwarming een graadje lager • Trek een EXTRA warme trui aan • Trek laders uit het stopcontact • Doe lampen uit als je een ruimte verlaat Zo ontdekken kinderen spelenderwijs dat kleine acties samen een groot verschil maken. #warmetruiendag #Duurzaam #duurzaamheidspedagogiek
De Druifjes en Erwtjes spelen in de speeltuin aan de overkant. Het hoogtepunt? Bomen tikkertje! Rennen, lachen en genieten van het buitenzijn: wat een plezier! 🏃‍♂️
Laarzen aan, regenjas dicht en gaan! 💦 Stampen in de plassen geeft kinderen de ruimte om vrij te bewegen, hun energie kwijt te kunnen en het buiten spelen écht te beleven.

Easily accessible

This Kids and Carrots childcare centre is easily accessible by public transport, car and bicycle. At the front of the nursery on the Veenkade there is a three-car pick-up and drop-off lane. Here you can park briefly when bringing and picking up your child(ren). In front of the entrance there is enough space to park bicycles.
