The small-scale childcare centre of Kids and Carrots on Witte de Withstraat in Zeeheldenkwartier/Duinoord is located on a cosy square opposite the Elandstraat church. The building is on a corner with the Van Diemenstraat. At this location there are four group rooms; two baby groups, one toddler group and one toddler plus group. When entering the individual rooms it seems as if you are entering a living room. The location has been renovated using energy-saving and sustainable materials. In the garden you will find a play road, play kitchen, play boat for the smallest children, a play deck and a large sand box! Within 100 metres of this location, there are several playgrounds, a library, supermarkets and the unique city farm (Kinderboerderij ‘t Beestenspul). Trips can also be made to the nearby Palace Gardens and Scheveningen Woods.
